I finished the last of the 4 paintings for the international competition,
Peace Now.
The statement for the show:
"Peace Now" is an effort to show individuals how they can integrate meaningful acts of peace into their everyday activities. Peace is not just a concept that is 'out there' but a possibility and a way of being that exists within each of us. In fact, for true peace to reign, we all must be participants. A broad interpretation of the concept of "Peace Now" is encouraged for submissions to this show.

It has been at least 20 years since I have entered a competition. It will be interesting to see if the jurors will accept any of these paintings.
