Contemporary Encaustic Painting, "Crossing Paths," by Colorado Artist Dianna Fritzler

Original Encaustic Painting
by Dianna Fritzler
"Crossing Paths"
8" x 8" x 1.5"
$110

I love the process of creating encaustics. Because there are so many variables, like air temperature, the flow of air created by my torch, etc. - I have to "let go" and allow the painting to create itself. Happy mistakes lead me in directions I would not have otherwise taken and the finished painting is what it should be. (Often times not what I had intended!)

Thanks!
